Commissioned to create an Acknowledgement of Country for Town Hall, I departed from the standard format and instead composed a poem expressing my personal relationship with Country paired with a native fibre planting.

Presented as part of HOME|LAND, a group exhibition exploring relationships to land and home, Midland Mourning is a sculptural work created from farm-collected stones, monumental in form, yet subtle in message.

Commissioned through Solid Lines for Deloitte’s Nipaluna headquarters, this site-specific artwork depicts the journey of freshwater from Kunanyi/Mount Wellington to the tidal waters of Timtumili Minanya/Derwent River.

Working with Waanyi designer Cassandra Pons as part of the Indigenous Fashion Projects Pathway Program, I created a custom print for her Australian Fashion Week collection which featured on the David Jones runway.

I was invited by Du Cane Brewing to develop a mural for their new venue in Launceston. The resulting artwork, Meeting Place, honours the sacred waterways that converge to form Kanamaluka/Tamar River.

Awarded a place on The Gathering Cultural Exchange program through RANT Arts, I travelled with other artists and cultural leaders to Hawaii, to connect, learn and exchange with local Elders, artists, and cultural practitioners.

Commissioned to create a second artwork informed by student learning and collaboration with local Elders. Students submitted original artworks, which I digitised and wove into a new design featuring key cultural symbols such as muttonbirds, animal tracks, and meeting places.

Commissioned to design a custom carpet and Acknowledgement of Country for GHD’s new Salamanca headquarters, I created an artwork titled Community, Culture and Country. Inspired by Palawa weaving and circular knowledge systems, the design features repeating motifs.

Commissioned to create artwork for Clarence City Council’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan, I developed a design inspired by the flow and connectivity of water. Fine line work traces the interwoven paths of waterways, communities, and culture, speaking to the shared lifeblood of First Nations people in Lutruwita.

Curated and produced for Junction Arts Festival, Tunapri Palawa was a vibrant cultural hub housed within a purpose-built tent. The space featured daily community-led workshops, authentic Aboriginal arts and crafts, and an evening sound-and-light installation.

In collaboration with W Rugby, I designed a First Nations artwork for their Won for Won program, an initiative where every ball purchased sees another donated to Indigenous communities as well as regional and remote sporting clubs.

Commissioned by Constance ARI, I collaborated with author and artist Luana Towney to digitise her daughter’s illustrations for a public story trail about the Muwinina people. These artworks were engraved onto timber panels lining the Hobart Rivulet.

Commissioned by Working It Out, an organisation supporting LGBTQIA+ Tasmanians, this artwork represents my own journey as a queer Aboriginal man while speaking more broadly to shared community experiences.

As the founder of Blackspace Creative, I led a series of curated retail activations across the state. Each pop-up offered a platform for Palawa artists, community engagement, and storytelling through art and design.

As part of the redevelopment of the State Library and Archives, I was engaged to design an integrated flooring artwork using rubber or linoleum. The circular composition evokes a yarning circle, an invitation to gather, reflect, and connect.

Commissioned by Cumulus Studio to support their Reconciliation Plan, this artwork draws on the natural rhythms of Country and the layered journey of community and cultural understanding.

In partnership with Weave and NAB, I facilitated a large-scale participatory artwork during a corporate gathering in Nipaluna. Guests were invited to make intentional marks using pyrography tools on 350 recycled timber blocks.

As part of a playful national campaign responding to the rise of AI-generated art, I was one of several artists commissioned by Tourism Tasmania to hand-create works based on public prompts submitted online through the TasmanAI portal.
