Tas Walking Co.
Layered pathways mapping ancient routes and gatherings across Tasmanian landscapes.
Drawing on my research into Tas Walking Co.’s brand and visual language, I created an artwork that reflects our ancient connection to landscape. The design incorporates two line styles, one representing land under non-Indigenous management (such as farms and parks), and one marking waterways and access routes. The semi-transparent overlay symbolises accumulated cultural knowledge and gatherings across time. Negative spaces trace the paths of our ancestors, the "highways" of old, connecting camps, resources, and Country.
You can view the Tas. Walking Co. Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan online with my artwork throughout.
