Tas Walking Co.
Drawing on my research into Tas Walking Co.’s brand and visual language, I created an artwork that reflects our ancient connection to landscape. The design incorporates two line styles, one representing land under non-Indigenous management (such as farms and parks), and one marking waterways and access routes. The semi-transparent overlay symbolises accumulated cultural knowledge and gatherings across time. Negative spaces trace the paths of our ancestors, the "highways" of old, connecting camps, resources, and Country.
