Tasmania JackJumpers

Selected through an open call and endorsed by Elders Auntie Theresa Sainty, Uncle Rodney Dillon, and Auntie Lola Greeno, I was commissioned to design the Indigenous Round uniform for the JackJumpers. The design speaks not only to the team but more deeply to our connection as saltwater people. The line work mimics the rhythmic movement of waves around our island, while nine circular motifs represent the nine nations of Lutruwita/Tasmania pre-invasion. Positioned across the guernsey’s panels—front, back, and sides—these motifs honour leadership, resilience, and deep-time connection.
