Abstract artwork of undulating teal contour lines—evoking water currents or woodgrain—flowing across a sea-green gradient; fine, layered linework creates depth and motion.

Clarence City Council

Awarded the commission to create artwork for Clarence City Council’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan, I developed a design inspired by the flow and connectivity of water. Fine line work traces the interwoven paths of waterways, communities, and culture, speaking to the shared lifeblood of First Nations people in Lutruwita/Tasmania. Water’s cultural significance and its reflective qualities resonates with the ‘Reflect’ stage of the Council’s RAP journey. Layers within the composition suggest knowledge, culture, and history; connections span within and beyond community; pathways recall journeys taken; and the continuous flow unites us, naturally and inevitably.

You can view Clarence City Council’s Reflect Reconciliation Plan with my artwork throughout, here.
